Our overarching goal is to connect anyone in Kansas with a PIO function in their job description with others in their field to network, share information and be a resource. All members are offered the opportunity to attend quarterly meetings outside of our conference in the months of May, August and November. As a benefit of membership, KAPIO will provide FREE trainings in the 4th quarter to every KAPIO member in good standing at the close of the KAPIO Conference in May (May 6, 2017). To receive the benefit of the FREE 4th quarter training provided by KAPIO, you need to be a KAPIO Member by the conference. Thank you!
TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP
General Member ($40): Any communications professional working for a government agency in the State of Kansas can be a General Member. General members may hold office and vote in elections. KAPIO membership entitles you to quarterly meetings and the 4th Quarter special training.
Combo Membership & 2017 Conference: ($160): Receive a discount on your 2017 conference registration with our combo option. The conference for 2017 will be May 4 and 5 in Wichita, KS at Hotel Old Town. You’ll need to handle your room reservations on your own.
2017 Conference Fee Only ($140): If you’d like to attend the conference but don’t want to be a member, use this option. If you only attend the conference and do not do the combo membership, you won't be eligible to attend the 4th quarter KAPIO trainings like we offered in 2016. (Reservation link.)
Group Rate Conference + General Membership ($150): KAPIO will again offer a group rate for any organization that sends 10 or more to the 2017 Conference. Attendees will also receive a General Membership for each conference participant. Do not register electronically for groups. Let us provide you an invoice for your group all at once. Contact Megan Gilliland for group reservations (email@example.com).
